Professor Jennifer Weller is Head of the Centre for Medical and Health Sciences Education at the University of Auckland, and a specialist anaesthetist at Auckland City Hospital. She is on the Editorial Board for the British Journal of Anaesthesia.
This presentation will explore the features of training highly effective teams and using our experiences in New Zealand as an example, describe how we could build the collective competence of our surgical teams to achieve better outcomes in acute care.
